MVFT is a union of more than 1600 members that includes teachers, teaching assistants and security in the Mount Vernon City School District in Westchester County, NY. Through a representative democratic structure, the MVFT is committed to improving the quality of education for all students, ensuring safe working conditions, supporting community programs for families in need and negotiating a fair contract.
